After the major winter storms that took a huge chunk out of Newlyn Green and ripped up the footpath between Penzance and Newlyn, Cornwall Council are undertaking the massive job of repairing and under pinning with decent foundations. The Concrete-o-meter situated on the Bolitho Garden fence shows how much concrete has been poured to date and approximately how many lorry loads.
They are using some huge machinery to dig out for the foundations and to in fill again.
Hopefully before too long the footpath and Newlyn Green will be re instated and safe from further winter storms.
