Tuesday 12th August 2014 and the National Trust were celebrating 60 years of being in partnership with St Michaels Mount. To celebrate this they put on a spectacular firework display, using the Mount as a backdrop, made all the more magical by a brilliantly bright moon rising above the bay.

I just popped down to the Prom to watch, so got a fantastic view without the crowds of spectators and the bangs!

This photos were taken on my phone so I apologise for the quality, but they give you an idea of the show and mother nature added her bit with a beautiful moon.
