Much earlier in the season and before the big snow hit, we managed a trip over to Godolphin house and gardens with the grandkids. We’ve never been there before, its so true that you don’t do the things right on your doorstep, what beautiful places we are missing. The snowdrops were in full flower when we went and were looking beautiful, we were blessed with blue skies, it was still a little chilly but we warmed up with a hot chocolate in the cafe after our walk.

I can definitely recommend a trip over to Godolphin whilst you are staying at Keigwin House, we only did the house and gardens, but there is also a lovely walk to the top of Godolphin hill which affords great views of the surrounding countryside.
