Stuart and I have really enjoyed welcoming guests back to Keigwin House, we have tried to make the experience as normal as possible whilst doing our best to keep both our guests and ourselves safe and well. As we head towards winter and more stringent guidelines being issued from the Government, from tomorrow Thursday 24th September we will be greeting all our guests wearing a mask/face covering and still keeping to social distancing guidelines. We respectively request that all guests wear a mask/face covering in the public areas of Keigwin House.
We remind guests to use the automatic hand sanitiser dispenser in the foyer before entering the house. We are providing anti bacterial hand wash in the bathrooms and we are disinfecting all the communal areas, including handrails, light switches and door handles etc three or more times daily.
Our room service breakfasts and timed breakfast slots seem to be working very well and the homemade pancakes have been a great success.
All the local restaurants are now open but it is advisable to pre-book to avoid disappointment. As always guests are still welcome to bring in takeaways and use the dining room. We just ask you to tidy up after yourselves. There is sanitiser left on the side as well as washing up liquid etc..
Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate will still be provided for your room, but rather than put everything in each room we will provide these by agreement with you on arrival. We also provide extra toilet rolls by request.
To enable you to book in the knowledge you can get a refund we have changed our cancellation policy. We will still ask for a deposit equal to the first nights stay, but now you can cancel up to 48 hours before your arrival date and get your deposit back or transfer to another date. Please can we remind guests to follow all Government guidelines and if you live in a high risk area please postpone your visit until the risk level has lowered. Please rest assured we will honour your booking for a future date or give you a full refund of any monies paid.
At Keigwin we are trying our best to keep you all safe and well during your stay and we ask you to do the same, so if you feel at all unwell or have knowingly been in contact with someone with Covid19 symptoms or similar prior to travel, we ask you to please delay your trip to another time.
In the meantime please stay safe and well and we look forward to welcoming you to Keigwin House.
