The Rooms at Keigwin House

There is a choice of tastefully furnished en suite and standard family, double, twin and single rooms.

Soft Egyptian cotton bath sheets and handtowels are provided along with complimentary toiletries from Out of Eden.

Our microfibre duvets and our pillows are all hypoallergenic.

The bedrooms are serviced on a daily basis and all have a flat screen digital television with Freeview channels, a hairdryer, free Wi-Fi and USB charging sockets.

A hospitality tray is provided in all the rooms with tea, coffee & hot chocolate, plus home-made Biscotti biscuits; also on the tray is bottled tap water.

For guests who may have difficulty with too many stairs we do have two ground floor en suite rooms which are on the same level as the dining room and the front door. However, please be aware we do have 13 steps up to the front door.

Room 1

This is a spacious ground floor double room facing to the rear of Keigwin, it has a high ceiling with ceiling rose plus an en suite shower room with washbasin and toilet. This room also has two arm chairs, a wardrobe, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers, which are all provided so you can unpack and make yourself at home. Look out for the very unusual plaster mouldings on the door to this room. Click on the photos to enlarge.

Room 2

This is a quiet first floor double room that gets the early morning sun. It has a king-size bed plus en suite shower room, washbasin and toilet. Bedside cabinets, a wardrobe and chest of drawers are all provided. Click on the photos to enlarge.

Room 3

This is a spacious first floor family room to the rear of Keigwin that can sleep up to 3 people, it has a double and a single bed making it very versatile. It also has an ensuite shower room with washbasin and toilet, plus bedside tables, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Click on the photos to enlarge.

Room 4

This is a first floor superior ensuite double or twin room with a lovely big bay window that catches the sun all afternoon and evening. A seating area in the bay window with 2 x armchairs makes this a very comfortable place to sit and relax and take in the views over tree-lined Alexandra Road. The beds can be arranged as a superking or as a twin; it also has an ensuite shower room with washbasin and toilet. A wardrobe, 2 x chest of drawers and a bedside cabinet are also provided. Room 6

This is a second floor standard twin room to the rear of Keigwin which gets the early morning sun. It has twin beds plus a vanity basin, bathrobes are also provided. It shares a shower room and toilet facilities which are next door and only 2 steps away. Also in the room is a wardrobe, 2 x chest of drawers, a bedside cabinet and 2 x armchairs. Room 7

This is a lovely bright and airy second floor standard single room to the rear of Keigwin with a large velux skylight. It has a small double bed plus a vanity basin, a bathrobe is provided. Room 8

This is a large, light and spacious second floor ensuite family room. It has a king-size bed plus bunk beds; in the shower room is a large shower cubicle with a washbasin and toilet. Room 9

This is a ground floor superior ensuite double or twin room. It is to the rear of Keigwin with dual aspect windows giving early morning sun; it can be configured as a superking or with twin beds. There is a full ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over, plus washbasin and toilet. A wardrobe, 2 x chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and an armchair are all provided. Dining Room

Whilst the dining room is used for breakfasts we are also more than happy for guests to use the dining room in the evenings. Should you not want to eat out you are very welcome to bring a takeaway back to Keigwin or even prepare ready meals or a sandwich for dinner. We have provided a microwave, toaster, plus all the plates, knives & forks etc and most importantly wine glasses for your use.
